Solo Trip to Vigan

Out of hatred, confusion, brokenheartedness and betrayal, I found myself in an ordinary bus ride to Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
Honestly, I didn't have any itinerary, no clue of where I would stay for a night, no clue of where I should take off from the bus. But yeah, I'm here writing all about that trip.
It's nice to get away and leave your shattered heart behind; even just for awhile
I was in total emotional wreck when I took this trip. The ordinary bus helped me to forget things, because I met lots of ordinary people sitting beside me as the bus picks up and drops off some of the passengers along the way. The pungent smell of perspiration, smog and what-evers. The noise. The excitement and fear of getting lost. Hunger. It all made me forget.

Ilocos Empanada
Food
The bus dropped me off Narvacan, and from there, I took a UV express van to Vigan. I was dead hungry. I was starving. The van finally dropped me off the plaza of Vigan. It's a very clean place with friendly people. I met a college girl and showed me around the plaza. After an hour of walking around with her, she finally told me she has to be home that minute or else, her parents will kill her. I said okay, goodluck with all the blood.
When she left, it was just in time for the empanada stalls to come to life. I devoured every bit of it. This food is perfect with Coke! It's a dip-fried food with egg, little bit of seasoning and veggies. They usually dip it in vinegar but i prefer eating it dry.
Calle's and walking around

I didn't have so much time to take pictures (as you know, brokenhearted).
But yep, the calle's (or streets, english term) are nostalgic. I wish I lived in a different era.

Getting Fucking Lost
I found a nice disco place along the calle's, i actually forgot the name of that bar/disco but upon asking some Ilocano friends, they told me it's BarTech. (Bartek literally means "drunk" in Ilocano). I asked for some Bailey's and damn it, it was soooo good! I met LOTS of people while drinking the night away! imagine me, all alone, in a pub, drinking and meeting and talking with both Filipino locals, travellers and foreigners.
Drunk and half-awake, I checked my phone. Oopsie, it's 2am. I was partying with like, 3 people and I told them I had to go, one guy was so kind to lead me outside. When we finally bid goodbye's, I realized... i forgot the name of the transient house I rented. That was the only moment I can really remember, sitting on a gutter, lost, drunk, crying.
Finally, a woman on a motorcycle came to the rescue. She was like Brienne of Tarth when she came. She asked me if I was okay... I can't really remember what happened but yeah, we managed to find the transient house. i don't know how she did it, because it's a bit far away from the calle's but hey, here i am, safe. =)
After spending 2 days in Vigan, I went straight to San Juan, La Union and surfed all day, then back to cold Baguio where I had to pick the pieces up.
