I've been planning to post this topic for months already, but being a single mom with 2 jobs and a kid with unending energy, I just can't seem to come up with something that can help ultimate frugal girls, in and out of Baguio.

One can find Ukay shops here in Baguio on every nook and cranny. You can even find a small shops even in Barangays. Session Road, City Market, Abanao Square, Harrison Road; name a street, we got it.

Most Popular Ukay Shops / Centers here in Baguio

SkyWorld - located at the most famous street in Baguio, SkyWorld Ukay Center is a 3-storey buliding filled with anything second-hand. Some stalls in that building also sells China-made stuff, RTW's but of course, like, 70% of it is filled up with Ukay shops.

Bayanihan - Just beside Burnham Park is also a 3-storey building of Ukay shops. This place is heaven for the most frugal Baguio Ukay girls, as one can find 10 peso dress. No stress.

Old Mido Inn - Just at the foot Session Road, Mido Inn also cradle Ukay shops. Perosnally, I find this place as my favorite. If my budget allows a bit expensive item, Mido Inn is the answer; and if the budget is irritatingly tight, Mido Inn is also the answer. You can find dress, long blouses, jeans, jackets here, 5 pieces for 100.

5 PIECES FOR 100 PESOS.

LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: 5 PIECES FOR 100 PESOS.

Bonus track: Hill Top Market - ahhhhh. Hill Top. The place of twenty-peso shirts, knitted blouses and toddler clothes. I also love going here whenever my market shopping bag isn't that heavy.

Hmmm. I dunno man, but I don't feel like adding the Night Market. I've had a couple of bad experiences from it. First off, you need to wait for 9pm for them to open up (along Harrison Road). The first bag i bought from this turf... BLEH. And yes, you have depend on the street lights to see the stuff you're buying, so generally, you really can't tell if the stuff you bought has stain on it. Well, bad as it sounds, I was a victim. I thought I was too darn lucky to find a hobo white bag for php150; but when I was already home.... booo. It was YELLOW, with blue stains all over.

Few things to keep in mind while shopping

Funny Smell and stains- so girls girls girls. Limit your expectations. Ukays are second-hand stuff. So watch out for funny smell and stains. Double-check everything before paying for it.

For frugal hoarders - yes, you can still make tawad! Sky is the langit!

Check for any ripped edges - yeah, it can happen.

----all of a sudden i feel like so tamad to write----

okay! so there you go! see you on the flip side.
