Burst of Korean Restaurants in Baguio

Yes, we Filipinos love Korean dishes. Any one who says otherwise is either a liar, or haven't tasted it yet. Koreans have captured our hearts (and pockets) with their yummy food and those mushy dramas we buy from pirated stores along Session Road and from the market.

My friends from university days are scavengers for good resto's. We love doing some treasure-hunting for a nice place to stuff our bellies with something that will give us heart attack; food that makes us "sinners" by knowing that it will definitely send us to the grave sooner than expected; food with too mush cholesterol and MSG on it, it will make my grandmother cry with disgust. (okay, i'm exaggerating). Korean dishes are far from that. They are a bit healthy, focused more on veggies and they try their seasoning and flavorings to be all-natural as possible. AND! that oooohlala spicy-ness. YUM.

Baguio is like i-don't-care-how-many-thousands-of-feet-above-sea-level , so the temperature here is far more chill than the rest of this God-forbidden country (not really, just trying to reach a number of words per post) . That's why those spicy Korean dishes rock!

Writing this makes me hungry.

Okay, well anyway, you can find a small Korean Resto here in Baguio in every nook and cranny. I honestly hate seeing Filipinos working for those Korean restaurant owners. It makes me sick seeing them saying " ma'am" or "sir" to them, to think that those people are foreigners. What happened to that law that no foreigner should own a business here? Well I don't have much info on that but yes, still makes me cringe. Any thoughts on this? Leave your comments below.

I'm really hungry. Later days guys!
